Introduction

Even higher and better performance awaits you with the new version of the successful Memor. Small, light, ergonomic, robust and versatile, the key features of the mini mobile terminal from Datalogic have been once again improved. Developed especially for applications in retail and in the field, the handheld terminal now has a faster processor, more memory, optional Windows Mobile 6.1 and a 2D imager, as well as mobile radio communication. Further innovations are found in the battery, keyboard and the audio options.

Of course, the relaunch of the proven mobile terminal features excellent ergonomics and a lightweight that prevent user fatigue, while the long-lasting, more powerful lithium-polymer batteries last for an entire shift. The Windows CE 5.0 or Mobile 6.1 operating systems allow installation of various applications, while operation of the device via a touchpad and touch screen simplifies handling enormously. Wireless options (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Edge) make the Datalogic Memor the ideal companion in retail and logistics. The integrated telephone functions (GSM/GPRS/EDGE) simplify communication or are useable for your own applications.

The tiny size of 15 x 5.5 cm and approx. 230 grammes make the Datalogic Memor only slightly larger and heavier than a mobile phone. Despite its size, this minicomputer contains the full functionality that is needed for mobile data collection and processing: the efficient integrated laser scanner reads all standard bar codes at up to 110 scans per second even at a distance of up to 90 cm. An area imager is now available to you for 2D applications with higher resolution and image capture.

Even more memory, a faster processor and perfect connection possibilities
The fast XScale PXA 310 processor with 624MHz ensures better performance, while 128MB RAM and 256 MB Flash Memory provide additional security for storing of user and program data. The user-accessible MicroSD slot makes expansion with standard SDHC compatible cards easy and inexpensive.

Connection to all existing systems can be achieved in three different ways: the basic version operates as offline mini computer with memory. Data transmission between host and device is performed over the integrated standard interfaces (RS232 and USB). For professional online integration into ERP systems or databases, the Wi-Fi version of the Memor with internal IEEE 802.11b/g adaptor, Cisco-certified CCX v4 radio and antenna are recommended. The result is a smooth real-time connection into any company network, even in large areas or outdoors. In this way, you achieve real-time connection in every company network without difficulty, even over large areas or outside. A version with Bluetooth interface is also available, as is GSM with Edge basis, which enormously expands your customers’ range of functions through quad-band mobile telecommunication.

Extremely robust with almost unmatched ergonomics
In addition to extraordinary technical performance and various options, the Memor is also designed for demanding work where its sturdiness is required. In addition, the device is water and dust-resistant according to IP54. The large temperature range allows for use in applications inside as well as outside. Compact dimensions in combination with its light weight supply the terminal with excellent ergonomics, superb handling and user-friendly balance.

Every Memor comes in a ready-to-use kit with a lithium-polymer battery and belt clip. Fully charged, the battery provides up to seven hours of operation. If no charged battery is available simply use commercially available AAA alkaline cells. An AC adaptor with a power supply cord and a USB cable are supplied with every standard version. You can optionally choose a matching base station for easy data transmission and recharging of additional batteries - a multi cradle or vehicle cradle with RS232 are optionally available. In addition, you have diverse options such as an adaptor for cigarette lighters, an alkaline battery adaptor and a soft case.
