Introduction
The new Pegaso industry PDA provides a data collection solution with various functions that combine flexibility and performance in a single robust yet ergonomic device. An integrated laser scanner at a hundred scans per second reads all commercial bar codes from a distance of up to 90 cm. The rubber keypad can be used to enter numbers and short inputs manually. Due to a modern housing design and a user-friendly key arrangement, all users operate the device comfortably regardless of the size of their hands.
Input for Windows applications and additional data collection is realised with the integrated touch screen. A transflecting VGA display with a resolution of 640x480 pixels and an extra-bright indoor and outdoor mode allows adequate readings any time even in direct sunlight.
The device contains Windows CE 5.0 preinstalled that guarantees easy integration into all software systems. Standard tools help with the development of individualised customer solutions. Its two interface variants exist to meet all customer requirements. The batch version offers standard data transfer over USB and RS232. An optionally integrated Wi-Fi card allows direct online connection to any existing Wi-Fi network.
One of its major advantages is the terminalīs extraordinary robustness. Its IP64 certification demonstrates a high level of protection against impacts, dust and water splashes. Additionally, repeated drops from 1.5 m onto concrete do not have any impact on its reliability. Optionally, the standard battery can be replaced by an integrated high-performance rechargeable battery that offers exceptionally long operation. Such features make the Pegaso the first choice for industrial use in production, aviation, logistics or heavy industry.
Included with every standard version is a battery, USB data cable and the required AC adaptor. The extensive range of accessories professionally extends the standard features: additional desktop or wall and car mounted chargers are available as well as grips, belt clips, multi-chargers, holsters and other accessories.
