Introduction

The QuickScan L is the perfect all-round solution for office, workshop or POS, wherever short distance scans require high scan performance. It comes not only with a low price – its laser technology offers excellent scan characteristics and high durability. The compact hand-held scanner is small, light and features an ergonomic pistol grip for comfort during daily use..

The QuickScan L is preferably used in retail and office applications. An optional gooseneck stand allows users to operate the scanner both as hand-held or desktop device, a plus for many customers. It has a scan performance of 100 scans per second and reads a large number of compatible bar codes like most 1D and GS1 DataBar codes (formerly RSS). The exceptionally wide scan angle of 47° guarantees perfect scans of very large bar codes from a short distance. A short reading distance of laser scanners often results in worn scan windows. The QuickScan L was designed with this problem in mind and allows users to replace the scan window directly, if necessary. Consequently, replacements and maintenance become a thing of the past. Replacement windows are available at reasonable prices and ordered separately.

The QuickScan L is also appealing due to its durability. The device is IP42 compliant and protected against dust and liquid entry. Furthermore, the scanner survives drop tests from 1.5 m height and is also designed for more than 1 million scan cycles.
