Introduction
The Glancetron 8070 is our proven cash drawer with professional features. It combines high functionality and long life at a very cost-effective price, and is available in three colour varieties: your customer chooses between the new modern stainless steel look or the industrial lacquer in black or white. This means it is suitable for almost all applications where cash is used.
The cash drawer 8070 in stainless steel (see image) offers the same features as the varnished versions. On the front it has the same wide slot for cheques. Naturally, the new drawer is fully compatible with the large range of accessories (lockable lid, counter insert, etc.). Especially in catering and food services and modern shops or boutiques, the Inox version is easy to clean and depicts a visual highlight!
The drawer is equipped with a soft-opening mechanism that opens and closes the drawer extremely smoothly. Ball bearing steel rails ensure that the drawer still runs smoothly even after opening it hundreds of thousands times. The 41x41x10 cm unit is equipped with standard eight coin compartments that can be adjusted in size. The standard Glancetron 8070 drawer has two horizontal and four vertical bank note compartments. If you require the drawer for other applications, you can find various conversion kits in the accessories list. The compartments for coins and notes can be individually removed. The optional lockable cover makes cashier changes simple and take just a matter of seconds. If additional compartments are required, please order separately.
The drawer features a scratch-resistant front surface and a lock. An emergency opening mechanism is located on the bottom of the drawer. Not unlike other POS systems, the 8070 features a standard Epson cash desk printer interface, like it is used by almost all manufacturers for cash desk printers. If your customer does not require a receipt printer, you can use our external Glancetron 8005 cash register opener. It triggers a relay over the serial or USB interface to send an opening pulse to the cash drawer
