Scanners can accidentally fall onto concrete or similar hard surfaces, in particular under tough conditions. At the same time, the scanner can also read bar codes with a printing width of only 3 mm and decodes them without problems. When the scanner is inserted into this stand, it switches automatically into auto-scan mode so that all bar codes within range are scanned automatically. Users do not have to activate scans manually in this mode. As the scanner switches automatically between hands-free and handheld mode fatigue is minimised, while employee productivity is maximised.

Using RSM support (Remote Scanner Management), the devices can be configured and upgraded centrally, which lowers administrative costs significantly.
