Introduction
With the portable terminal Symbol WT4000 from Motorola, your customers can collect data efficiently in the areas of logistics and production - information is managed in a fast and ergonomic way. Designed for professional hands-free operation, the wristband option of the WT4000 can easily be attached to your arm. With the RS409 and RS309, Motorola offers a variety of wristband options in regard to its laser scanners, bringing the high performance of the computer into play.
Equipped with a 520 MHz Intel XScale processor, 64MB Flash and 128 MB RAM, the terminal offers sufficient memory for comprehensive data collection. Due to its compact design, the miniature PC features Windows CE software and a 7.1cm (2.8'') QVGA colour display. Equipped with Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g) and Bluetooth for wireless data transfer, the terminal provides high reliability your customers will benefit from on a day-to-day basis. As it is certified to the standard IP54, the WT4000 is ideal for use in rough surroundings and demanding production facilities. The device provides unparalleled performance in terms of employee security, productivity and reduction of accidents.
The portable system offers a scan platform, supporting multiple areas of application. The user enters commands either in the language or text only, or by entering a combination of both. Two scan options facilitate a long or short distance scan procedure ― the light ring scanner RS409, or the RS309, which is suitable for cold storage houses and can be worn on the back of the hand, rounds out the the high ergonomics. Both scanners guarantee the optimal scan performance that Motorola is so well known for, including scanning of damaged or badly printed bar codes.
The comprehensive functionality for a professional voice picking is available to the user, considerably increasing the removal rate. The terminal transfers data either via Wi-Fi, or via Bluetooth, in order to ensure the transfer of all real-time information and to reduce errors.
